FANTASTIC FEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM

Here’s December, and me getting all antsy to feel seasonal… I have just completed a local excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of fantastic feasts. Gear yourself for some serious festive cheer!

I reckon a quick spin around one of Dubai’s holiday brunches should do it – or, if you’ve had one festive drink too many, there are loads of non-crimbo happenings to check out too:

THE RIPE FESTIVE NIGHT MARKET, AL BARSHA POND PARK: 24 December | 3.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

A Dubai park is transformed into a food-focused party for this weekly night market which features a revolving cast of traders and dishes from all over the world, served in stalls and trucks. Visitors can also order a Festive Box, which comes packed with Brussels sprouts, clementines and more.

CHEESE & WINE NIGHTS at INDIE, DIFC: Every night, all December long.

The food at this local restaurant in DIFC is so off-the-chart delicious that it threatens to upstage everything else in the venue. A reason why a recurrent “Cheese & Wine” night at INDIE is NOT a bad idea, at all. When all you want to do is graze on a luxurious cheeseboard and put a solid dent in a bottle of wine, this December, INDIE’s got you covered.

… or just screw it all and go for this burger. FUCK’s sake!
